Opening the season against Subiaco Academy on Nov. 10, the boys then faced Clarksville, winning by twelve points, and with a score of 59-47.

In press time, the team held an overall score of 5-5. The team began to pick up momentum last Tuesday as they faced Springdale, winning the game with only a two point lead.

“We have to improve on our inside post play and we have to get more sound defensively,” coach Charles Cooper said.

The boys varsity team open 6A Central conference play at home on Jan. 4 against Conway.

“We have a lot of seniors who got valuable playing time and even made it to state. We are hoping that their experience will help us do well in the upcoming conference season,” Cooper said.

On Dec. 14 the team competes against Bentonville in a non-conference game.
