Homecoming Kicks Off Tonight

Following first conference loss against Conway on Sept. 21, the team faces Cabot tonight for a hopeful rebound during the homecoming game. As of Sept. 21, the team’s wins total up to 2:2. Southside currently ranks 19 in state.

“We have high hopes, obviously the goal is to go deep in the playoffs and have some fun doing it,” senior wide receiver Colton Mcbride said.

The team as of Sept. 21 plays with a total of 196 receiving yards, 223 rushing yards, fourteen touchdowns, and five interceptions. Senior Ricardo Savoy averages the highest receiving at 10.9 for rushing yards, and 29.4 for receiving yards.

“I feel like if everyone plays the way they are supposed to, we are going to have a good rest of the season and have a shot at state this year,” senior running back Johntarrius Washington said.
