The Fort Nutrition Review

Opening the doors for the first time on Jan. 14, The Fort Nutrition welcomes customers with protein milkshakes, smoothies, teas, and healthy snacks from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On a price scale of $ to $$$, The Fort Nutrition remains in the middle at $$.

Located on 2816 Old Greenwood Rd, The Fort Nutrition offers a protein shake and tea drink combo, ranging from about $8-$10, depending on the sizes. The Fort Nutrition replaces the former Simply Sweets building.

A small tea drink with tax comes to $3.84; a standard and reasonable price for a protein and health tea, but this would not be a reasonable price for just a regular drink. The drinks give off an energy boost, however, that helps with hunger and dehydration.

A menu with variety, common categories of flavors exist as chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, fruity, and coffee. Teas such as “Beauty Bomb” and “Pump It Up” help reduce wrinkles, cellulite, and act as a pre-workout drink, while the protein shakes are quite filling for a breakfast or early lunch treat.

With an early closing time, the after school or work crowd can’t enjoy The Fort Nutrition unless going in the morning for a drink or a snack, and most employed people have to be at work earlier than 6:30 or just don’t have time in the morning to stop for food or a drink.

Though hours prove to be a disadvantage, the aesthetic look of a café and the friendly service at The Fort Nutrition trumps the short, open hours. A welcoming atmosphere and trendy music throughout the restaurant brings about positive and happy vibes, which help kick-start a new day.
